In addition to shampoo and conditioner, good hair care also includes a hair treatment or mask. The intensive care usually comes with highly concentrated proteins and vitamins, removes hair damage, gives the mane bounce and makes it softer. What are the editors’ favorite products? Our 4 favorites.
Hair Treatment "Intense Hydrating Mask" by Moroccanoil
Recommended by Daniela, Editorial Director Tikbow.
I use hair treatments far too rarely, ideally you should smear them into your hair once a week – and yes, my hairdresser is right, you can see the effect. Especially when I use "Intense Hydrating Mask" (250ml/approx. 30 euros) with arganöl and flaxseed extract, my hair looks like fresh from the hair salon – glänzend and healthy. However, there are additional fragrances contained, dafür the cure smells like würziger amber.
Nutri Color Creme 1002 Platinum White from Revlon Professional
Recommended by Naemi, Product & Business Manager
I regularly leave the "Nutri Color Creme 1002 Platinum White" from Revlon Professional (270ml/approx. 13 euros) on for a few minutes. Afterwards, my hair is soft, shiny and my blonde is refreshed with every application, without ammonia and peroxide.
Hair treatment "Genesis Masque Reconstituant" from Kérastase.
Recommended by Laura, Editor myHOMEBOOK
Matching my shampoo and conditioner, I now also use the cure from the Genesis series of Kérastase. Even a small amount of the Genesis Masque Reconstituant (200 ml/approx. 30 euros) is enough for one application; when massaged in, the hair already feels super-smooth, and after styling it looks really healthy. But best of all I like the fresh scent that lasts for several days.
"Watermelon Hair Food" by Garnier Fructis
Recommended by Melanie, Editor FITBOOK
I am thrilled by the "Watermelon Hair Food"-Hair Treatment of Garnier Fructis (390 ml / about 5 euros)! I have discovered it only kürzlich, but it works great on my fine hair, makes them supple and easy kämmbar. And: It comes without silicones and is vegan.
