On 23.11.2018 Tanja Szewczenko had her last appearance as Diana Sommer in the RTL soap “Alles was zählt” – three years ago, and since then a lot has happened in the life of the ex figure skating star: in April 2021 the two twin boys Leo and Luis were born. On Instagram, the mother of three keeps her many fans up to date – and now surprised with a new hairstyle.
An accurately cut bob slightly above the chin – that is the result of Tanja Szewczenko’s latest trip to her trusted hairdresser in Cologne. In the process, the former AWZ star has left quite a bit of hair behind; previously, her strands reached almost to her chest height, and she liked to tie them up in a high ponytail. "Over the past 15 years, I have had many beautiful hairstyles and hair colors conjured up here. By the way, my legendary short haircut, which I wore in the role of Diana Sommer, was also created in this salon," comments the actress on her new look.
And revealed that after the winter she would also like to experiment further in terms of hair color. The fact is that Tanja Szewczenko is right on trend with her choice of petit bob: the hairstyle is a classic and simply never goes out of fashion, although here the hair is cut bluntly and horizontally in one line, in contrast to the layered bob.
Tanja Szewczenko was the skating star of the 90s, collecting countless medals before officially declaring her retirement in 2001. A career in front of the camera followed with numerous TV engagements; between 2006 and 2009 she was part of the permanent cast of the RTL soap "Alles was zählt" and returned in 2016 for a few episodes.
She is married to former German figure skater Norman Jeschke – In 2011, their daughter Jona was born together, 2021 the two twins Leo and Luis.
The road to her desired children was not an easy one: On Instagram, the actress told of four miscarriages in a period of just two years and the physical and emotional strain of her unfulfilled desire to have children. In the end, she almost gave up hope and promptly became pregnant naturally.
