Hot and cold setting only, with or without ionic technology, inexpensive or cost-intensive – there is now a lot to consider when it comes to hair dryers, so that hair can not only be dried but also styled optimally without leaving behind frizz and unruly ends. Which hairdryer has convinced whom from our team? Find out here.

Föhn recommendation: "Ghd air" from Ghd.

Laura, editor myHOMEBOOK
I use the "Ghd air hair dryer" (from about 103 euros) and am very satisfied. It dries my hair very quickly and gives them a shiny finish. And it is quieter than my previous models, which can be an advantage especially in the morning and does not wake up everyone around me. My absolute Föhn recommendation.

"EH-NA98" from Panasonic

Daniela, Editorial Manager Tikbow
The "EH-NA98" from Panasonic (about 199 euros) has a "facial skin mode" has, which is to supply dry skin with moisture ions. One minute you are supposed to let the warm air to your face. This is unusual and a bit uncomfortable because you are breathing in Föhn air the whole time. My skin condition has not improved since then, but my hair structure feels supple and looks healthier after each blow dry. In addition to the skin level, there are other temperature levels with so-called nanoe technology, which never make my thick, dry hair look brittle, literally bändigen and protect my scalp.

Hair dryer D5950" from Remington

Anna-Lena, editor Tikbow

Hair dryer from Ideenwelt Best Basics

Marlene, working student TECHBOOK
For four years I have been using the hairdryer from Ideenwelt Best Basics, Rossmann’s own brand, because it offers me good value for money, especially with the included styling nozzle, hair dryer and removable hair filter, which is easy to clean. I only find the third of the three temperature levels to be significantly too hot.
