Lady Gaga demanded her role in the new film “House of Gucci” psychologically a lot, as she now revealed. In it, the pop star plays Patrizia Reggiani, who had her ex-husband, the grandson of Gucci’s founder, killed.
She got so caught up in her role in the high-profile drama that Lady Gaga lost touch with reality. "I had psychological difficulties at some point towards the end of filming," she told British "Vogue."
"I was either in my hotel room, living and talking as Reggiani, or I was on the set, living and talking as her." During a private walk in Italy, Gaga had panicked because she could no longer distinguish between the film set and reality. "House of Gucci" by director Ridley Scott is scheduled to hit German cinemas in early December. The film also stars Adam Driver, Jared Leto and Al Pacino.
Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani
The story revolves around the murder of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of the company’s founder. A murder commissioned by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady Gaga in the film), who was sentenced to 29 years in prison for it.
