Hintertux is one of the few remaining glaciers open 365 days a year for winter sports. For summer skiing, up to 20 km of slopes are open and accessible via 10 lifts. This includes the Glacier Bus 3, which can transport over 3000 skiers per hour. Hintertux offers a good selection of runs for all levels, but is known for its steep, challenging terrain.  At the same time, you may also wonder if you need special equipment due to possible temperature differences at this time of year. Therefore, when choosing ski jackets men and women, it is recommended to equip yourself with the appropriate sportswear for these weather conditions.

The Dachstein glacier above Ramsau am Dachstein features flat, north-facing slopes for predictable snow. However, Dachstein’s alpine skiing in the summer months is highly dependent on weather and snow conditions. Dachstein is the international training center for cross-country skiers, athletes and Nordic combined athletes. In summer, reservations for the gondola are required and can easily be made by phone. For non-skiers, the Dachstein Skywalk and Dachstein Ice Palace are available. However, the suspension bridge and stairway to nowhere are more for the daring. Food and drinks are served at the Glacier Restaurant right in the Dachstein Glacier Lift mountain station.

Les Deux Alpes in France

The snow park in Les 2 Alpes can compete with the glacier of Saas-Fee with its slopestyle and cool zone, half pipe and easy park suitable for beginners. The slopes and lifts are open daily from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm, while ski camps are held throughout the summer.
