Even the royals can no longer avoid social media, the latest example being Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (39), who launched an official channel on Google’s YouTube video platform on May 5 – and with resounding success! "We are now on Youtube", the couple announced via Twitter. And what awaits fans there in the future, William and Kate announce in a 25-second clip: the two members of the Royal Family at official appointments, meetings with celebrities, private moments. The channel will feature exclusive videos of the future king and his wife in the future, according to the royal plan.

In the first YouTube clip, William points into the camera and says to Kate: "Be careful what you say, these people film everything" to which the duchess laughingly replies "I know;". Elsewhere, Kate tells her husband not to roll the letter "R" all the time.

Kate and William – more visibility thanks to YouTube

The royal couple has already been present on Twitter and Instagram for a long time. The establishment of their own YouTube platform is seen as a step to further strengthen their public visibility. William’s brother Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, gave up their accounts on social networks after their departure from the royal family.
