  1. Cut the egg carton so that you have three egg carton cups attached to each other.
  2. To make the bat’s wings, cut V-s in the ends cups to create tips.
  3. When you are finished cutting, paint the egg carton black. Add eyes by painting two white circles with black dots on the center cup.
  4. Once the paint is dry, poke a hole in the top of the bat. Tie a knot in the end of the string and thread it through the hole to hang the bat in your home or garden.

  1. Cut an egg cup out of egg carton and paint it all white.
  2. Once the paint is dry, glue a piece of white tissue to the inside of the egg carton cup and poke a hole in the top of the ghost.

  1. Cut out the egg carton so that you have three egg carton cups attached to each other.
  2. Once you have them cut out, paint the cardboard white. Add blue, green or orange circles to the bottom grooves and red strokes to the sides of the egg carton. Paint black dots as eyes or get creative and create your own spooky eyeball design.

Instructions for Witch:

  1. First paint 1 egg carton cup in green and 2 egg carton cups in black.
  2. Make the witch’s hat: Cut a small circle out of black cardboard and make a slit mark in the center of the circle. Roll the circle around to form a cone. You may need to cut off some of the ends. Glue them together to keep the cone shape. Glue the cone to another round piece of black cardstock and some gold glitter paper on top to make the brim of the hat.
  3. Fix the 3 egg carton cups on top of each other with glue, leaving a small space between them. Glue strips of orange cardstock for the witch’s hair on the side of the face and the hat on top of the witch’s head.
  4. Add 2 self-adhesive wiggle eyes and trace the nose and mouth with a black marker. Then glue on the 2 purple buttons.

How to make the vampire:

  1. Paint 2 egg carton cups in black and 1 egg carton cup in light beige.
  2. On the beige cardboard cup, paint the hair with black paint.
  3. Glue the egg carton cups on top of each other, putting a small space between them.
  4. Glue a white triangle on the black egg carton cup to make the shirt, and then glue a red glitter paper bow on top.
  5. Cut a large red triangle out of cardstock and glue it to the back of the egg carton cup. Glue 2 self-adhesive wiggle eyes for the face and draw the smile with a black marker.
  6. Then glue on 2 small teeth made of white paper.
